The Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S focuses down to 0.38m for a maximum magnification of 0.22x. The digital info display on the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S is undeniably useful, but not always easy to see in daylight. In darker or indoor conditions, however, the lens info display is very clear indeed.
The primary reason is its versatility. Thanks to its very useful focal length range, along with a large maximum aperture of f/2.8, it worked out great for photographing many different types of subjects. Zoomed into 50-70mm, it also served me well as a portrait lens, thanks to its ability to beautifully render out of focus areas. 37jIJv.
