This is not a black and white issue. We can have both. But some people can only fathom the one way they imagine how something would work instead trying to come up with alternatives that would have the best of all worlds.
If you have any of the expansion maps, the best way to get Hero Points is to wait for the HP trains. Here, all you have to do is follow a commander around the map as they guide you to all of the Hero Points available in the map. This can save lots of time in the long run, and you can usually yield around 250 Hero Points within 2 to 3 hours.
If you can afford it, it’s well worth having. When farming Karma, you should aim to have active: Karma Booster (+50%), Politics Tier 1 (+5%), Economy Tier 4 (+15%) and Ice Cream (+5%) for a total of 75% extra Karma gain. This would result in 1 Jug of Liquid Karma providing 7,875 Karma and your monthly (10 Jug’s of Liquid Karma) providingDolmen grinding is an easy way to farm experience but not the fastest by far. The fastest way is mob-grinding, best combined with popping your scroll at the end of your daily and handing in some precrafted master writs (and maybe other quests). It’s also not the fastest way to make gold, but again an easy one for beginners.
